The Meadow Campground invites you to take a relaxing trip down Salt River. Whether you're a guest staying at our Campground, from the local area, or an out-of-town visitor, we offer kayak rentals with transportation service Friday through Sunday. Already own a kayak or other water vessel? Transportation-only services are available.

The kayak rental purchase price is for the vessel only, not for individual persons. Individuals are welcome to ride along at no cost.
Age Requirements
No one under the age of 9 can be in a single kayak alone.
Must be at least 7 years old to be in a tandem, and MUST be accompanied by an adult.
If Someone wants to bring a child under the age of 7 the only option is to have them sitting on the lap of a parent or guardian.
We do not provide life jackets for children under 90lbs. You must bring your own.
Rules
Life jackets are provided with rentals and MUST be worn at all times.
Transportation-only kayakers MUST bring their own life jackets and paddles.
NO glass bottles allowed on the river.
Kayakers can get off on gravel bars but can NOT venture further on the land, as all land between the drop-off points and The Meadow Campground is private property.
All kayakers are required to sign a waiver prior to trip departure!
Half Day 5.5 Mile Trip
Friday - Sunday
Departure Times:
8:00 am and 1:30 pm
The 8:00 AM trip to arrive back no later than 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM trip to arrive back no later than 5:30 PM.
*Prompt departure times. Guests MUST arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure for check-in;
30 minutes in advance for groups larger than ten.

Excursion check-in is at the Coffee House. You MUST arrive no later than 20 minutes prior to departure.
Groups larger than ten must check-in 30 minutes prior to trip departure.
Transportation Only
$18 per person
We require a minimum of six people for our transportation-only service.
For groups in a party of 10 or larger, upon request departure times can be different than regular excursions.
Please call in advance to make your party's reservation.

Under Missouri law, an outfitter is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in paddle sport activities resulting from the inherent risks of paddle sport activities pursuant to the Revised Statutes of Missouri. Chapter 537 RSMO revised to 537.327
Footwear and life vest are required. Life vest included with all rentals. However, guests are welcome to bring their own.

Cancellation & Raincheck Policy
When you book a reservation, you're holding a space on our calender that is no longer available to other guests. A cancellation of any kayak reservation requires a minimum three-day notice for nonweather-related situations. If cancelling three days or more prior to your reserved trip, a full refund (less fees) will be issued. If cancelling less than three days prior to your reserved trip, a refund cannot be issued. If cancellation is necessary, please call 844-424-CAMP. Upon request at cancellation, a raincheck may be issued. If the trip is cancelled by staff due to inclement weather, a raincheck may be issued upon request. All rainchecks must be redeemed before October 1st of the current season.
